I have a strong admiration for this man. Well, not as much as for Nelson Mandela or Bob Marley, but still he reassures me on my fellow men.
Yann Arthus-Bertrand is a militant ecologist photographer, known for his aerial shots, published in "Earth from above" (a book made in partnership with Unesco), and for his recent video exhibition "6 billions of Others".
He is the founder of Goodplanet, an association about to be declared of public utility, very active in fighting the environmental crisis we are facing.
In collaboration with Luc Besson, Yann Arthus-Bertrand has just produced a wonderful documentary on our Mother Earth, called "Home" . The movie, entirely no profit, can be seen on "http://www.youtube.com/user/homeproject".
A real testimony by images, a global moment of consciousness, which places the stakes way before the money. The project is a further alarm bell to be taken into consideration during the United Nations Climate Changes conference to be held in Copenhagen from 7th to 18th December 2009.

Yann Arthus-Bertrand est un photographe militant écologiste, connu pour ses photos aériennes, extraites du livre " La terre vu du ciel " ( publié en partenariat avec l'Unesco) et pour sa récente exposition vidéo "6 milliards d'autres"
Il est le fondateur de Goodplanet, association bientôt reconnue d'utilité publique, très active dans la lutte à la crise environnementale.
En collaboration avec Luc Besson, Yann Arthus-Bertrand vient de réaliser un magnifique documentaire sur notre Terre Mère, intitulé "Home". Le film, entièrement libre de droits, peut être vu sur "http://www.youtube.com/user/homeproject".
Un vrai témoignage par l'image, une prise de conscience globale, plaçant l'enjeu bien avant l'argent. Le projet se veut être une ultime sonnette d'alarme, en prévision de la conférence sur les changements climatiques de l'ONU à Copenhague, du 7 au 18 décembre 2009.
